What have we been doing? Here is a random list:
1. We had a great time in Montana. The weather was great and the kids spent quite a bit of time outside playing.
2. I had a birthday and turned 35.
3. Sophia has stopped sucking her middle two fingers suddenly. It is so very sad. I guess that tooth just gets in the way.
4. Daniel has started baseball and Evan is not far behind.
5. Piano lessons are going great. Mrs. Williams is very good but a true taskmaster.
6. Evan told his friend that his grandpa (my dad) is a "farmer slash cowboy." How did he know about slashes?
7. Daniel will recieve his Wolf Badge tomorrow at CUB SCOUTS!
8. Marian is reading very well and I can't spend enough time with her to satisfy her. We love it.
9. We had a talk with Daniel last week about the facts of life. I have never seen a less interested child in my whole life. Now, when it is Evan's turn, we will have to have books, flip charts, and diagrams because that child does not let anything go.
10. Did I mention that Blair has yet to get me anything for my birthday?

Happy Birthday Danae! Did you ride your horses (or a motorcycle!) while you were away? My hubby has a motorcycle...;o)
I would love to be a fly on the wall when you give Evan the "talk." That would be an interesting experience!

Oh, I am so dreading THE TALK, in spite of all the reassuring books I've read on the subject. But it must be done. Congrats on the Wolf Badge! Must get working on that, too... And Happy Birthday! Night at the movies to celebrate, maybe?
